Duitse rockband die in de loop van hun geschiedenis veel stijlen doorliep. Opgericht in Mönchengladbach door de klassiek geschoolde kunststudent Jürgen Dollase in de herfst van 1971 als Blitzkrieg, met een internationale cast van: Amerikaan Bill Barone, Nederlander Jerry Berkers en lokale vriend Harald Grosskopf. Na slechts een paar concerten werden ze snel opgemerkt en gretig gecontracteerd door Pilz.
